Dear applicants,
Once your Centrelink appointment and Medicare enrolment are done, you need to submit an online application for their Tax File Number (TFN).
To submit an application for TFN, please click on the link and follow the instructions provided on the website for using Individual Auto Registration (IAR). Additionally, a step-by-step information fill-out instruction is attached herewith for your reference.
After the application is submitted successfully, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) will post your TFN to the Australian postal address on your application. If you do not receive a TFN notification letter after 28 days after submitting the application, you can contact them on 13 28 61 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday (except for national holidays).
